Play with strIVngs is a relaxed, one-off session designed for adult learners and hobbyists to sit in and play with us — whether you’re curious about joining, want to try out ensemble playing, or just want to make music with others for fun.

There’s no need to prepare — come as you are, sight-read if you can, air bow if you must!

Who should join Tuesday?

For players who have some background — maybe you’ve been learning for a while, taken exams, or played casually. You’re ready to strengthen your fundamentals, feel more confident, and become more at ease playing with others.

Who should join Wednesday?

Designed for more experienced players — you may have a strong foundation, completed higher grades, or had consistent ensemble experience. This session focuses on refining technique, deepening musical expression, and developing greater precision and awareness within the ensemble.

Who should join Thursday?

Designed for those just starting out or returning after a break — you may be new to your instrument, or easing back into playing again. This session focuses on building core fundamentals, developing basic reading and technique, and exploring ensemble playing in a supportive, no-pressure environment.
